Carterville (WSIL) -- Showers continue area-wide this morning. The leading edge of the main line of showers and storms has moved east of our viewing area before sunrise.

Showers will likely continue as this frontal system slowly pushes through. By Sunday evening, showers will come to an end from west to east, but not before they create a wet Sunday for most.

Expect temperatures to remain steadily in the high 50s, if not low 60s through the morning. They will fall steadily behind the front back down into the upper 30s to start Monday.

Chief Meteorologist Jim Rasor is back tonight, to track the last of the rainfall as it leaves the region.
