Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday morning, and at Murphysboro Tuesday
morning.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

(WSIL) -- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8pm for parts of southeast MO. Storms are possible across the entire region this evening with the highest potential for storms producing damaging wind gusts in our western most counties. Meteorologist Jacie Brianne will be on air and online with the latest updates.
