Clouds remain with showers dwindling
Carterville (WSIL) -- Rain has stayed confined to the boot heel of Missouri and will continue to dry up as we head throughout the evening. Many of us stayed dry today and that will continue to be the case for most of your work week.Â
Temperatures remained in the low to mid 50s today with the extensive cloud cover. We should clear those clouds out by tomorrow morning and I do expect most of Monday to remain sunny for the entire region. We will be in a bit of a cooler airmass but still above average with highs in the low 50s.Â
Overnight lows the next three days will near freezing before warming rapidly by late week. Tuesday and Wednesday we cloud up but warm into the upper 50s.
Expect another rain chance as we head into Thursday.Â
