...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Warm weather in place for weekend

(WSIL) -- High pressure dominating the weather influence locally will deliver quiet conditions for the weekend with warm afternoon temperatures. A mix of sun and clouds with south breezes will bring a summer feel to the next few days.

The next chance for rain moves into the forecast around mid week and will linger into the holiday weekend. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
