CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- There are so many kids in our region doing awesome things, that it makes my job really hard to pick just one to brag about for the week.
After reviewing all of our entries, one nomination jumped out at me immediately.
Meet Isabelle Pearce, a senior at Carterville high school. She is an honor student and works between 24-32 hours per week at a nursing home in Carbondale. Pearce works in the Alzheimer's and dementia unit at the nursing home.
Last year as a junior she completed her Certified Nurses Assistant Course at John A Logan..
The future nurse has ambition and that caught my attention, making her a Wicked Awesome Kid.
