(WSIL) -- One hundred new cases of COVID-19 were reported in southern Illinois on Tuesday.
More than a third of those new cases were in Williamson County.
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department had 43 new cases Tuesday - eight in Franklin County and 35 in Williamson County.
The health department says it's investigating an outbreak at two more long term care facilities.
On Tuesday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 1,740 new cases of COVID-19, including 27 additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 209,594 cases, including 7,782 deaths, in Illinois.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: One teenager, one in their 20s, one in their 30s, one in their 40s and one in their 70s
- Male: One tween, one in their 20s and one in their 70s
Eight new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Franklin County Tuesday. To date, there have been 260 confirmed cases, including one death, in the county. Of the positive cases, health officials say 134 have recovered in Franklin County.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- One male in his 40s
Egyptian Health Department says the man is at home in isolation. There have been 57 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths, in Gallatin County.
HAMILTON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, one in her 60s and two in their 70s
There have been 43 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death, in Hamilton County.
Hamilton County Health Department says one person is currently hospitalized and seven others are isolating at home. As of Tuesday, 34 people have recovered.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: Two in their teens, one in her 20s, four in their 40s, one in her 50s and three in the 60s
- Male: One teen, one in his 50s and one in his 60s
Jackson County reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. To date, there have been 803 confirmed cases in the county, including 20 related deaths.
Jackson County Health Department says 108 active cases are currently being managed. As of Tuesday, 675 individuals have been released from isolation.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
- One male in his 70s
On Tuesday, Jefferson County Health Department announced one new COVID-19 case and one additional death in the county. To date, there have been 373 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 24 deaths, in the county.
Health officials say there are currently 85 active cases, while 265 others have been released from isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Male: One in his 40s and one in his 60s
Johnson County has had 82 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Southern Seven Health Department says 16 cases are active, 66 others have recovered.
MASSAC COUNTY
- One male in his 50s
There have been 46 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Massac County. Southern Seven Health Department says seven cases are active, 39 others have recovered.
PERRY COUNTY
- Female: One under the age of 18, two in their 20s, three in their 30s, one in her 40s, five in their 50s and one in her 70s
- Male: One under the age of 18, two in their 20s, one in his 30s, two in their 50s and one in his 90s
Perry County Health Department reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. There have been 239 confirmed cases in the county, including four related deaths.
Health officials say 109 cases are currently active; 126 other individuals have been released from isolation.
SALINE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 60s
- Male: One in his 50s
Egyptian Health Department says each of the individuals is at home in isolation. Saline County has had 145 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including three deaths.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: One in her 70s
- Male: One in his 50s, one in his 60s and one in his 70s
To date, there have been 354 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 21 related deaths, in Union County. Southern Seven Health Department says 48 cases are currently active, 285 others have recovered.
WAYNE COUNTY
- One male in his 60s
Wayne County has had 77 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths.
Wayne County Health Department says 13 people are currently isolating at home, while 62 others have recovered.
WHITE COUNTY
- Female: One under the age of 5, one in her 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 20s, two in their 50s and one in his 60s
Egyptian Health Department says White County has had 98 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: Two in their 20s, three in their 30s, two in their 40s, two in their 50s, one in their 60s, five in their 70s, five in their 80s and two in their 90s
- Males: One teenager, two in their 20s, one in their 30s, two in their 40s, two in their 50s, two in their 60s, two in their 70s and one in their 80s
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department announced 35 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
To date, there have been 618 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including eight deaths, in Williamson County. Health officials say, of the positive cases, 330 individuals have recovered in Williamson County.
