(WSIL) -- Health officials reports another resident in Williamson County has passed away and additional cases of the virus. Other counties to confirm new cases Sunday include Franklin, Jackson, Saline and White.
Franklin County:
- Females: Three in their 20’s and one in their 40’s.
- Males: One child in their tween’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 40’s and one in their 60’s.
To date, there have been a total of 586 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including five deaths. Of these positive cases, 388 have recovered in Franklin county.
Jackson County:
- Females: One in her 30's.
- Males: One teen.
Health officials say they are currently monitoring 35 active cases. To date, Jackson county has had 1,297 confirmed cases, including 24 related deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,238 individuals released from isolation, including two on Sunday.
Saline County:
- Females: Two in their teens, one in her 20's, one in her 50's, one in her 80's and two in their 90's.
- Males: One in his 20's.
To date, Saline County has had a total of 407 lab confirmed positives, including four deaths.
White County:
- Female: One in her 20's and one in her 80's.
- Males: One in his 30's and one in his 50's.
According to the Egyptian Health Department, White County has had a total of 190 lab-confirmed positives and one death.
Williamson County:
- Females: One child under 10, one in their 20’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s and one in their 70’s.
- Males: One in their 60’s and two in their 70’s.
In addition to 8 new cases, the health department is also reporting an additional virus-related death.
Health officials say the individual is a man in his 60's who is previously confirmed to have acquired the disease.
To date, there have been a total of 1,491 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county including 55 deaths.
Of these positive cases, 964 have recovered in Williamson county.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 1,453 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois Sunday, including 17 additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 301,541 cases, including 8,791 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois.
