FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) Gov. Andy Beshear says Kentucky’s vaccination rate against COVID-19 has taken an upward turn. It comes as the highly contagious delta variant caused the most reported coronavirus cases in months.
Since last Friday, he says more than 22,000 Kentuckians have received a dose of vaccine. Beshear says nearly 41,000 Kentuckians received the shot last week. That's about half the total number of vaccinations during a four-week stretch in July.
