Deaths reported in multiple counties Thursday due to COVID-19

(WSIL) -- Local health departments continue to urge those who are out and about to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

Cape Girardeau, MO Health Department: 8 deaths and 103 new positive and probable cases

Deaths by age:

  • 50-59 Years: 1
  • 60-69 Years: 2
  • 70-79 Years: 1
  • 80-89 Years: 3
  • 90-99 Years: 1

Egyptian Health Department: 34 new positives

  • Saline County
    • Female: 1 under the age of 5, 2 in their 20’s, 2 in their 30’s, 4 in their 60’s, 1 in their 80’s, 1 in their 90’s
    • Male: 1 under the age of 10, 1 in their teens, 1 in their 20’s, 1 in their 30’s, 1 in their 60’s, 1 in their 70’s, 1 in their 80’s
    • Please note: A female was transferred to their local health department
  • Gallatin County
    • Female: 1 in their teens, 2 in their 20’s, 1 in their 30’s, 1 in their 50’s,
    • Male: 1 under the age of 10, 2 in their 30’s, 1 in their 40’s
  • White County
    • Female: 1 in their 30’s, 1 in their 60’s, 2 demographics unknown- case status unknown
    • Male: 1 in their teens, 2 in their 40’s,
    • Please note: 2 males and 1 female have been transferred to their local health department

Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department: 140 new positives

  • Williamson: 82 new cases and 5 deaths
  • Franklin: 58 new cases

Hamilton County Health Department: 15 new positives

  • 1 male child
  • 1 male in their teens

  • 2 males in their 20s
  • 4 females in their 30s

Jackson County Health Department: 39 new positives

  • Female â€� one under ten, three teens, six in their twenties, four in their thirties, five in their forties, two in their sixties, and one in her seventies;
  • Male â€� one under ten, two teens, two in their twenties, one in his forties, six in their fifties, two in their sixties, and three in their seventies.
