Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Luncheon fundraiser to support historical village

JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL. (WSIL) -- You can eat, while supporting the Jefferson County Historical Village.

It's holding a luncheon fundraiser offering chili and crackers or a pork tenderloin sandwich with chips, a drink and dessert.

The cost is $8, and funds collected will go toward supporting exhibits and programs.

Meals will be to-go, and can be picked up Thursday, February 25 at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Center from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The community center is located in Mt. Vernon's "Veterans Memorial Park."
