You don't need to be a medical professional, you just need to donate your time.
The 九游体育 Seven Health Department needs , a group that prepares volunteers for before natural disasters or national incidents.
What 九游体育 Seven needs now is volunteers to help at every level of the vaccination process, except vaccine administration.
So far, 8,000 九游体育 Seven residents have registered for the opportunity to get a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
In order to keep up with the demand of the vaccine, the health department needs volunteers at almost every step in the vaccination process.
Organizers of the MRC said having more volunteers would help get people in their counties vaccinated faster, especially if they were medically trained.
"Having nurses and medical staff on our MRC would be a positive point, to helping us get the vaccine out to our seven counties," said MRC coordinator Bobi Cavins.
The need for volunteers is brought on partially by a shortage of nurses, brought on by the 2015 budget crisis.
