(WSIL) -- Additional cases of COVID-19 were reported in eight southern Illinois counties Monday.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 614 new cases of COVID-19, including six additional deaths, in the state.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 147,865 cases, including 7,026 deaths, in Illinois.
Franklin, Hamilton, Jackson, Jefferson, Massac, Pulaski, Union and Williamson counties all had new cases.
Franklin County
- Males: Two teenagers and one in his 30s
There have been 35 cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County. Of those, 16 have recovered.
Hamilton County
- One female in her 20s
This is the sixth confirmed case of COVID-19 in Hamilton County. Three of the individuals have since recovered. Two people are currently isolating at home, while one person is hospitalized.
Jackson County
- One female in her 60s
The Jackson County Health Department says the woman acquired the disease through contact with a known case. She is now in isolation. To date, there have been 337 confirmed cases, including 19 related deaths, in Jackson County.
Jefferson County
- One male in his 30s
To date, Jefferson County has had a total 110 positive COVID-19 cases. Health officials say the last three individuals to test positive had "recent out of state travel." The health department is asking residents to take the proper precautions if they will be traveling.
Massac County
- One male in his 50s
Massac County has seen 14 cases of COVID-19. Seven of those have recovered.
Pulaski County
- One female in 10s
- One male in his 60s
There have been 78 cases of COVID-19 in Pulaski County. Health officials say 53 have recovered.
Union County
- Two males in their 30s
九游体育 Seven Health Department reports a total of 193 cases of COVID-19 in Union County, including 18 deaths. Of the positive cases, 126 people have recovered.
Williamson County
- Two females in their 20s
There have been 133 cases of COVID-19, including four deaths, in Williamson County. Of those cases, 81 people have recovered.
