California artist, John Cerney, creates artwork that is literally larger than life. His highway, billboard murals are colorful, captivating and creative. Cerney's artwork speckles the landscape from Illinois to Iowa to California.

WSIL -- If you've driven past the Benton exit along Interstate 57 south, then you've already seen his work. If you look to the west, you can't miss the giant painting of a young George Harrison, full-on with his fan club in tow.

California artist, John Cerney, creates artwork that is literally larger than life. His highway, billboard murals are colorful, captivating and creative. Cerney's artwork speckles the landscape from Illinois to Iowa to California. Cerney, who came to Benton for touch-ups to "George", stopped in studio to tell us about his amazing artwork, current creations and what's to come.
