CARTERVILLE, Ill– Carterville residents got the chance to meet and ask questions of candidates on their ballot. Those running say, today’s forum was also about listening.
Dog Brinkley, running for re-election for ward 3 said, "The city belongs to the people and I’m there to meet the people and I want their desires and their wants known to me so that I can present in a government fashion."Â
Tom Harness who is running for, for Ward 2 said, "It’s important one to create an opportunity for any of the citizens in Carterville in my ward or not to come out and see who their voting for."Â
Saturday’s meet and greet was held at the Anne West Lindsey District Library.Â
The election is Tuesday, April 2nd.Â
