Carterville seeks revenge on Harrisburg in first-round playoff match-up

CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- The Carterville High School Homecoming Parade, scheduled for Friday, September 13, has been moved up one day because of forecasted rain.

The parade will now begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12.

The remnants of Hurricane Francine are expected to bring widespread rain to the area beginning Thursday evening.

That rain is expected to continue into the weekend, meaning a wet night for Friday night high school football games.

Carterville hosts West Frankfort in its Homecoming game Friday night at 7:00.
