WSIL � Two groups come together to bring awareness to gun violence.
Moms Demand Action of Southern Illinois and the "Marion Ministerial Alliance" are hosting a candlelight vigil.

It is this Saturday at 9 p.m. at the Square in Marion. This is a national event but it gives the groups a chance to raise awareness about the impacts of gun violence in local communities. The hope is to give those who have been impacted by gun violence a safe space to reveal their hurt and loss and provide a witness to how pervasive gun violence is.
