CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- Carbondale Police have arrested a man for breaking into a home.
On Friday around 9:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress on West Walnut Street.
When officers arrived, they found damage to the front door and discovered someone was still inside the house. The suspect attempted to flee out the back, but was quickly arrested.
The suspect, identified as 52-year-old Robert Lee Blair, was charged with residential burglary and taken to the Jackson County jail.
