HERRIN (WSIL) -- Four people are charged in connection to a 2019 homicide in Herrin.
Charges were filed against 21-year-old Malik L. Felton, 24-year-old Austen D. Norris, 41-year-old Keith W. Kemery, and 26-year-old Ashley N. Kaminski in the death of Jeffery D. Ennis.
Back in January of 2019, Herrin police officers responded to N. 17th Street for a man lying in his driveway. The man, identified as Jeffery Ennis, was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death as homicide.

On Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, the Williamson County States Attorney's Office issued arrest warrants for first degree murder for Felton, Norris, Kemery and Kaminski.
Kemery was arrested on Dec. 1, Kaminsky and Felton were taken into custody on Dec. 3. Norris is already being held in the Illinois Department of Corrections on unrelated charges.
The case is being investigated by the Herrin Police Department, ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois Enforcement Group (SIEG), Williamson County Major Case Squad, Williamson County Coroners Office, Williamson County States Attorney's Office, and Illinois State Police Zone 7.
