PADUCAH (WSIL) -- Two people charged in the shooting of a man at his home on Washington Street early Sunday morning have been arrested.

Zachary Hulpa, 28, and Mikayla Little, 18, both of Paducah, were arrested Wednesday at an apartment building.

Hulpa was charged in warrants with first-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Little was charged in a warrant with complicity to first-degree assault.

Police say the 44-year-old victim invited a couple to his home in the 1600 block of Washington Street around 4:45 Sunday Morning.

After a disagreement, the victim was shot in the upper back and the couple left the house. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hulpa also was arrested on a warrant charging him with second-degree assault after he was identified as the man who pistol-whipped another man last Friday at a motel on Bridge Street; and on a Fulton County warrant charging him with violating an emergency protection order.

Both Hulpa and Little were booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
