Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Three wanted out of Franklin County for theft charges

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for three people wanted out of Franklin County who face felony charges.

Wanted out of Franklin County

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is alerting the public to not approach these individuals as some could be considered armed and/or dangerous.

Amanda L. Ortiz, 43, is wanted out of Franklin County for a retail theft charge. She was last known to be living in the area of West Frankfort.

Brian A. Whitecotton, 38, is wanted for aggravated identity theft and theft charges. He was last known to be living in the West Frankfort area.

Kendra R. Whitecotton, 37, is wanted for retail theft. She was last known to be living in the Carterville area.

If you have any information on where these individuals may be, you are urged to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 618-438-4841 or call your local law enforcement agency.
