UPDATE: One of two missing golf carts from Stardust Golf Course found

UPDATED 3:00 p.m. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2020

Stardust Golf Course owner David McNeal says one of the stolen golf carts was recovered Saturday night.

The cart was found abandoned in a corn field just off of Highway 148, north of Herrin, IL.

McNeal says the serial number and emblems were filed off and the cart's charger, along with power tools, were left behind.

The tools were turned over to Franklin County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities are still searching for the other missing cart, if you have any information, you are asked to contact either Franklin or Williamson County's Sheriff's Departments.

(WSIL) -- Williamson County deputies need your help in the search for two stolen golf carts.

Deputies say the golf carts were taken from the Stardust Golf Course in Johnston City on Saturday night. Two golf cart chargers were also stolen.
