Wisconsin Man Facing Homicide Charge Arrested in Southeast Missouri

NEW MADRID, Mo. -- A 22-year-old man wanted on an Intentional Homicide charge out of Wisconsin was arrested in southeast Missouri overnight.

According to the New Madrid Police Department, they received information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol during the overnight hours of August 29, in regards to a wanted person who was suspected to be at a home there in New Madrid.

Officers with the New Madrid Police Department then responded to an apartment on Blades Drive and said they found the suspect.

The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Daishon Brown who was wanted out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on an arrest warrant for First Degree Intentional Homicide and First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon.

Brown was arrested and taken to the Mississippi County Jail.

Assisting the New Madrid Police Department was the New Madrid County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
