...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Murphysboro affecting Jackson County.

Big Muddy River near Plumfield affecting Franklin and Williamson
Counties.

.The Big Muddy River continues to rise due to heavy rain last week
and over the weekend. The river will crest on Thursday before
starting a very slow fall.

For the Big Muddy River...including Plumfield, Murphysboro...Major
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.7
feet early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Haunted graves event in Graves County and the public is invited to be frightened

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky.--Mayfield-Graves County Tourism Commission is welcoming the community to their annual Haunted Graves Para Con event where they promise to spook you out. This is the second year for the event that’s been held at the county fairgrounds each year. 

Organizers of the event say it will include spooky experiences with paranormal and the unexplained fear factors in Graves County, Kentucky. 

The annual event is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 12th from 8 until 6 pm at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds. 

According to the press release this years Haunted Graves Para Con will allow attendees to network, see new equipment, experience up to 30 vendors, and hear from different speakers.
