...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and near Murphysboro

.Moderate to major flooding continues along the Big Muddy River. At
Plumfield, the river is now forecast to crest in moderate flood
stage near 28.5 feet Friday morning. At Murphysboro, the river has
crested and started a very slow fall.

For the Big Muddy River...including Plumfield, Murphysboro...
Moderate to Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

forecast.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 28.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.5
feet Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Crash impacts traffic in Marion

MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- Authorities responded to a traffic crash in Marion on Monday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of DeYoung Street and Walton Way.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash, with one of them a semi-truck.

Police were on scene directing traffic with multiple lanes impacted.
