ELDORADO, Ill. -- Ferrell Hospital is updating the public on efforts to reopen their hospital facility, nearly one month after flooding from a storm caused damage inside their building.
On May 8, a storm moved through the Eldorado area, bringing lots of rain and causing floodwaters to enter the healthcare facility. This caused the hospital to temporarily close their doors to clean up and make repairs.

On June 3, the hospital stated while they don't have a definite opening date, they are still committed in keeping the community informed about the ongoing efforts and progress.
