ZEIGLER, Ill. (WSIL) -- Fire crews responded to a house fire in Zeigler on Saturday evening.
The Zeigler Police Chief Ben Burkhammer tells us the fire happened in the 500-block of Coxspur.
Fire crews contained the blaze to the garage portion of the home and firefighters kept it from spreading further, Burkhammer stated.
Multiple area fire departments responded for the incident and assisted the Zeigler Fire Department, including fire crews from Royalton, Hurst, Buckner, Christopher and more.
