HURST, Ill. -- The city of Hurst alerted the public to inform them that their ambulance service is down.
They alerted the public on Tuesday afternoon and said the Hurst Ambulance will be out of service starting immediately and until further notice.
The city said this was due to mechanical issues.
All 911 ambulance calls will be routed to another department, the city said.
