JONESBORO, Ill. (WSIL) -- An event will be soon taking place in Jonesboro, and with it, plenty of fun for everyone.
It's called the Jonesboro Colorfest and is taking place on the second weekend in October.
This will take place in the heart of Jonesboro on October 11 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. and on October 12 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
This event will feature food and craft vendors, a kid's play area, carriage rides, fire station bingo, live music by Restless Roots and more.
On October 12, the Union County Sheriff's Office will be on hand with baked goods for sale. Money raised from these sales will also go towards the sheriff's office "Shop with a Deputy" Christmas event.
