VIENNA, Ill. (WSIL) -- The "No Drink Water" order in the City of Vienna is no longer in effect.

The Vienna Police Department posted the update, stating multiple water samples have shown the water is safe to drink.

The Illinois EPA sampled the water and approved lifting the order, city officials stated.

City officials also said they have been flushing the lines since the morning of November 5 and a boil water order is not needed.
