Pets still missing after tornado in Williamson County

Crews set to help with tree removal following Friday's EF-4 tornado

MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- Animal organizations and volunteers are still trying to find missing pets and reconnect found pets with owners after an EF-4 tornado hit the Williamson County area on May 16.

The Williamson County Animal Control is for those who are missing their pets.

Multiple pets, such as dogs, cats and even a donkey have been missing since the tornado hit.

If you have any misplaced pets or if you found a pet which may belong to someone else, contact your local animal control unit or call your local rescue group.

The Williamson County Animal Control also provided other animal control phone numbers if you need assistance.
