This renovation is part of Pilot's $1 billion nationwide modernization initiative, New Horizons.
To celebrate the completion, Pilot donated $10,000 to Marion Community Unit School District #2.
"We are excited to welcome the Marion community to our travel center to enjoy the new amenities and thoughtful upgrades," said Shannon Stone, director of store modernization at Pilot.

Pilot’s donation will support artificial intelligence resources in the district through Classroom Magic.
"This contribution is more than a gift, it’s an investment in innovation, education and the future of technology in our community," said Lindsay Watts, assistant superintendent of Marion Community Unit School District #2. “Pilot’s support empowers us to build a smarter, more connected tomorrow for our students. We are grateful for their partnership.
