CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Police are looking for the public's help in identifying who they suspect broke into a hospital and took some items.
Carbondale Police Department said they are needing help in identifying someone who allegedly committed a theft at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale on January 24, 2024, at about 10:45 p.m.
Police said an unidentified white man forced his way into a restricted office area of the hospital and entered several offices. Police suspect the man left with some of the property from the hospital.
After the man came back out of the hospital, police said he was confronted by security officers and then he ran away north on N. Poplar Street.
The photo included with this article is believed to be the person suspected of the break in and theft.
