Power restored after more than 4,000 out of power in Franklin County

ZEIGLER, Ill. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: December 3, 9:35 a.m. -- The power in Franklin has been restored.

ORIGINAL: December 3, 8:50 a.m. -- More than 4,000 are out of power on Tuesday morning in Franklin County.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency informed the public at 8:43 a.m. on December 3, about power outages affecting the western side of Franklin County.

Law enforcement was reported seeing power flashes at a substation in Zeigler.

According to , there were 4,083 Ameren customers out of power as of 8:39 a.m.

The estimated time for power to be restored is 9:30 a.m. on December 3.
