HARRISBURG, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Saline County Outreach is preparing for its 5th Annual event, themed "Dry Bones, Come Alive!" The community has been working diligently to gather churches, resources, and partners to make this year's event the largest yet.

Local churches, alongside those from Southern Indiana, will participate. Attendees can expect resources from the Egyptian Health Department, SIRAC, and more.

The event is free and features food, clothing giveaways, haircuts, hygiene items, and treats like sno cones and cotton candy. A "candy rain" will conclude the event for the kids.

Several local and Indiana pastors will share messages, with local musicians and special guests performing. New this year is the 4 Good Community Amazon giveaway, ensuring attendees leave with something special.

A recovery ceremony is also planned, offering something for everyone.

The event takes place on May 10, at 12 p.m. at the Harrisburg Memorial Park in Harrisburg.
