MAKANDA, Ill. (WSIL) -- Giant City State Park is hosting a Mating, Nesting and Owlets Program.
On Saturday, November 23 at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Giant City State Park, there will be a Mating, Nesting and Owlets Program. Park officials announced they will be joined by award winning naturalist, Mark H.X. Glenshaw.
Glenshaw will discuss the observed and documented lives of Great Horned Owls in the St. Louis Forest Park. He will share about what he has observed in their mating, nesting, maturation and dispersal of the owlets.
