GAGE, Ky. (WSIL) -- Four people were injured after a suspected tornado hit the community of Gage in Ballard County on Wednesday night.
The Ballard County Emergency Management Agency stated a suspected tornado hit the area, resulting in damage to multiple buildings and homes. The storm is also blamed for injuries to four people who were taking shelter in a van under an awning at a church.
All four were reported injured with one of them in critical condition. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The church also sustained damage from the storm.
Emergency officials in Ballard County will continue to assess damages on Thursday.
