Woman rescued after car slides off the road and rolls upside down in creek

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. -- A woman was rescued after her vehicle slid off the road and into a creek during snow conditions.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said it happened on Monday at around 10 p.m. That's when deputies responded to the 4000-block of KY 534 where a vehicle was upside down in a creek.

When they got there, deputies helped rescue a 30-year-old woman from the vehicle.

The vehicle was traveling on a snowy road and the sheriff's office said the vehicle started sliding at a curve in the road, then slid off the road.

The woman was taken to Mercy Health of Paducah for non-life threatening injuries.

Symsonia Fire Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, Mayfield Fire Department and Graves County Deputies all worked the scene.
