POPE COUNTY, ILLINOIS (WSIL) -- A big show of support for a local Navy sailor returning home.
Gavin Lehman spent four years on the U.S.S. Boxer, and was reconnected with family and friends on Easter night.
The 24-year-old had a surprise as first responders greeted him with their sirens for a parade. Those involved include the Rural Pope County Fire department, Pope County Sheriff's office as well as Golconda police and Golconda.
