83-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash

OLD APPLETON, Mo. -- A Perryville man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Cape Girardeau County on Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) stated the crash happened at 4:30 p.m. on May 29, along Highway 61 in Old Appleton.

A 20-year-old woman was driving a 2003 Ford F150 going north when an 83-year-old was driving a 2016 Kubota 1100 going north at the time as well.

MSHP stated the Ford F-150 struck the rear part of the Kubota. The Kubota then ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

The 83-year-old was sent to St. Francis Medical Center with serious injuries.
