Motorcycle crash sends southeast Missouri man to the hospital

PERRY COUNTY, Mo. (WSIL) -- A 32-year-old was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on Thursday evening in Perry County, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 5:39 p.m. on May 8, along Route K near Perry County Road 616.

State police said a 32-year-old man from Marquand was going south on a 2024 Harley Davidson Softail Standard, when he ran off the road and hit a sign. He was later taken to the Mercy Hospital Perry for treatment of serious injuries.

The motorcycle was also towed from the scene.
