MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- A 17-year-old was sent to a hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a deer on Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the crash happened along Missouri Highway 34, about a half-mile east of Highway B at 9:20 p.m. on September 3.
MSHP reported a 17-year-old was driving a 1995 Ford F-150 when the vehicle hit a deer, ran off the road and ejected the driver.
State police said the driver did not have a safety device on.
The 17-year-old was taken to the St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries.
The vehicle was reported with extensive damage.
