(WSIL) -- Nearly 31,000 Ameren customers are without power Saturday including more than 5,000 in southern Illinois.
Power outages are being reported across Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Perry and Williamson counties. This comes as severe storms sweep across the region knocking down tree limbs.
