CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Two dogs and three kittens are up for adoption in this edition of Pets of the Week.
Jack and his sister Jill were both up for adoption at PAWS' Place Adoption Center, but he is still looking for his forever home. He is a 2-year-old full-blooded Beagle who weighs about 30-pounds. He is good with children and other dogs. Contact the Shelter in Anna for more about Jack.
Tina is a beautiful black cat who is shy at first, but after some time with her, she warms up and becomes the sweetest cat. You can get to know her at Wayne County Humane Society in Fairfield.
Several cats and kittens are looking for new homes at Finding Forever Animal Rescue in Marion. The facility will be open this Thursday, July 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, July 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shelter will be closed on the Fourth of July.
Mel is a 2-year-old red and white Staffy-mix. He is available for adoption or rescue at the City of Marion Animal Control. His adoption fee is $160.00, which covers neuter, rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccine, heartworm test, and microchip.
