flooding and flooding Wednesday through Sunday.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...All of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, and western Kentucky.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Extensive street
flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall over several days
will result in extreme forecast amounts of up to 1 foot of
rain that will cause the risk of flash flooding and flooding
to rise markedly and create a particularly dangerous flooding
situation.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor later forecasts and be alert for Flash Flood and Flood
Warnings. Be prepared to take action when flooding develops as this
will be a particularly dangerous situation.

MIDNIGHT CDT /1 AM EDT/ WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT /8 AM EDT/ Wednesday to midnight CDT /1 AM
EDT/ Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

The Rend Lake Project Office let avid anglers know that they can now clean their catch at the North Sandusky fish cleaning station. Corps members say, the site is now "offishally" open, with a complete set-up to prep your fish.

REND LAKE, Ill., (WSIL) -- The Rend Lake Project Office let avid anglers know that they can now clean their catch at the North Sandusky fish cleaning station. Corps members say, the site is now "offishally" open, with a complete set-up to prep your fish.

The Army Corps has also released their list of camp sites soon opening for the season. The following areas will open this Friday, March 28th:

*Rend Lake Visitor Center - 7 days a week

*South Sandusky Campground

*North Sandusky Campground including Shagbark Group Camp

*Gun Creek Day Use Area (shelter 10)

*South Marcum Campground, Dale Miller Youth Area & Day Use Area   (shelter 9)

*Spillway Group Area restrooms

*River Road
