CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- The chance for scattered showers will stick around into the weekend. However, they will be less widespread than Thursday night and Friday.

The weekend won't be a washout and there will be dry time mixed in. If you're heading out to any outdoor events, grab the rain gear just incase.

Clouds and showers will keep temperatures down through the next couple of days. High temperatures both Saturday and Sunday will top out near 80 degrees.

Next week the dry and warm weather returns.
