.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River for the next
week, dropping near to below flood stage by April 21.

For the Big Muddy River...including Plumfield, Murphysboro...
Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 19.6 feet Monday,
April 21.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Calloway County pair arrested on drug charges

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. -- Officials arrested a pair in Calloway County on Tuesday on drug-related charges.聽

Officials arrived at N. 10th Street in Murray on Tuesday night. During the search, investigators said they found a can of Meth and drug paraphernalia. Deputies arrested Kaydence Swift, 20, of Murray, and Brock Glisson, 21, of Murray, and brought them to the Calloway County Detention Center.聽

Deputies issued the following charges to both Swift and Glisson:

  • Possession of Controlled substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense -- Methamphetamine (Class D felony)
  • Drug paraphernalia, Buy/Possess

Glisson had previously received charges for Meth possession and a stolen firearm. He was on bond for these at the time of Tuesday's arrest.聽
