MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Egyptian Electric has warned its customers of delayed bills and payments due to slow postal services.听
The electric company took to 聽on Thursday to offer the warning and give those impacted options to combat the issue to avoid late fees. Egyptian says both bills and payments have been delayed.听
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you call our office if you believe these delays may be impacting you," wrote Egyptian. "Your understanding is greatly appreciated. In the future, if you haven't received your bill by mid-month, call our office at 800-606-1505."
The company also suggests opting for paperless billing. Through a service called , customers will receive email notifications when bills are available. Payments will then be available via web, app, phone or Vanilla Direct Pay.听
