Graves County Feb. 25

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. -- Officials brought a man to the hospital after a wreck on Saturday morning.

Deputies found John Redden, 29, of Hickory, on the site of the crash at State Route 1241 near Union Circle. Redden's car rested near a ditch at the time of deputies' arrival.

The hospital determined Redden's injuries did not pose a threat to his life.

A release from the Graves County Sheriff's Office revealed further information about the situation. It stated that Redden drove a 2007 PT Cruiser South on State Route 1241 before the crash.

The release then detailed Redden's view of the crash. He said upon reaching the 1241 and Union Circle intersection, a car pulled out in front of him. Police later determined that the car's operator was Khepreisha Brown, 22. Redden drove to the right of Brown's car, which led him off the roadway and to the ditch. He flipped over upon hitting the ditch.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office received help from the Graves County Rescue Squad and Mayfield-Graves County EMS on this investigation.
