PEORIA, Ill. (WSIL) � The Salukis scored 25 runs over Bradley on Friday for their 18th win this season and fifth in a row.
SIU (18-7, 3-1) won over Bradley (3-18, 0-4) at Dozer Park in Peoria on March 28.
Bradley got the scoring started early with Breidenba doubling to right center, bringing in two runs in the 1st.
In the 2nd inning, Salukis� Lofton doubled and brought in two runs. Holder later singled to center field and brought in two more runs. Then, Bach hit a home run, bringing it to 5-2 Salukis.
In the 4th, Petrucell extended the lead to 6-2 with a home run. And in the 5th, Mylott and Hall hit home runs bringing it up to 12-2. Bach also tacked on one more run, bringing it to 13-2 before Bradley then scored 5 runs, closing the gap to 13-7.
In the 7th, Mylott hit a sacrifice fly to bring SIU up to 14 runs before the final inning. Bradley, however, scored four more runs to close the gap to 14-11 at the end of 8 innings.
At this point, Salukis hit several singles and doubles to bring in 11 runs in the top of the 9th to secure the win.
SIU ended up the night with 18 hits on 0 errors compared to Bradley which had 10 hits with 2 errors.
