Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

Little Bayou de Chien Bridge closed due to structural issues

Swamp Root Road Closure
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

FULTON COUNTY, Ky. -- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has closed Swamp Root Road for bridge construction. 

The road is closed at the Little Bayou de Chien Bridge at mile 1.72. KYTC cites "structural issues" as the reason for the closure. Swamp Root Road travels between KY 94 and KY 781 near the Cayce community. 

The bridge is completely closed to all traffic until crews are able to determine the state of the structure.
